Robin Ligus: Shropshire murderer's mother remembers son.

“It’s a good photograph of him, it hasn’t been taken off the wall in 16 years,” says Phyllis Ligus.

The picture of her son Robin was taken when he was about two years old.

Now aged 59, he is currently serving a life term for the murder of Robert Young during a burglary at the 75-year-old’s home in Shrewsbury in 1994.

Mohammed Arshad's colleagues say they are 'still nervous' after his murder.

Private hire drivers say they are still on edge following the murder two years ago of colleague Mohammed Arshad.

Mr Arshad, a married father-of-three, from Selly Park in Birmingham, was asked to a collect a man from outside a school in Kings Norton on 22 July, 2009.

Killer Derrick Bird shot his semi-naked twin brother David 11 times with a rifle after confronting him in his bedroom, an inquest has heard.

Wisbech factory worker murdered neighbour.

A jury has found a factory worker guilty of murdering his neighbour by stamping on her at her home in a Cambridgeshire town.

Jolanta Dumciuviene was killed in her room at a shared house in Wisbech in May 2009 and not found for three days.

Tomas Acas, 26, who worked with Mrs Dumciuviene and lived next door to her in Milner Road, was found guilty of her murder at Cambridge Crown Court.
